on the night shift

Last night was my first night back at work for over a week. It was short lived. I got there at 10pm to find the store completely empty and all the lights off. One other freight worker came right after me. We were equally confused as to why no one was their since we were told specifically that we were working New Years Day. Apparently the other workers knew since nobody else showed up. I guess I'll try again tonight.
